- Roman Empire Period is a 500-year-long period between the 1th and 5st century AD.
- As part of military campaigns led by Emperor Augustus, the Soča Valley region was annexed to Roman Italy
- In Roman times the first cities in Slovenia came to being: Emona, Celeja, Neviodunum, Petovijona.
- During the Roman Empire Period, today's Most na Soči was home to a fairly large but compact village (vicus) with advanced buildings.
- A burial ground with more than 180 graves was also found and researched by archaeologists in Most na Soči.
