20th–21st century AD
- In 1906, the railway towards Trieste started operating along the Bača Valley and the Soča Valley. The Most na Soči station contributed to the development of trade and industry.
- From 1915 to 1917 this place was gripped by World War I. The ridge of the Cvetje Hill served as the front line.
- After World War I, the Primorska Region was annexed to Italy and remained so until 1943.
- After the introduction of the Gentile’s fascist reform in 1928, the use of the Slovene language was forbidden in schools, offices, stores and pubs.
- In 1952, the place was renamed Most na Soči.
